SINGAPORE: All five regions of Singapore entered the unhealthy air quality range on Tuesday (Sep 15) morning as hotspots and haze persisted in parts of Indonesia.

At one point, the 24-hour Pollutant Standards Index (PSI) in the central region hit 154. 

Air quality gradually improved through the day, however, with 24-hour PSI readings in two regions dropping back into the moderate band.

As of 7pm, the 24-hour PSI reading in the central region remained the highest at 130, while the west and east were at 112 and 111, respectively.

The readings in the north and south regions were 92 and 91, respectively.
