Mysuru: The Mysuru District Administration, in coordination with the Departments of Tourism, Kannada and Culture and the City Police, has launched the updated official Government website for Mysuru Dasara-2026:  mysoredasara.gov.in

The website was launched yesterday by Mysuru District Minister Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah in the presence of other dignitaries and officials.

The bilingual (English and Kannada) website has been designed as a single digital platform providing information to citizens, domestic tourists and international visitors about the 11-day Nada Habba, scheduled from Oct. 11 to 21.

District Administration sources told Star of Mysore that efforts had been made to make the website user-friendly and informative, with the aim of helping tourists access Dasara-related information easily.

“We wanted the website to deliver a user-friendly digital experience, built with a mobile-first design that adapts effortlessly across smartphones, tablets and desktops,” an officer said.

The website provides information on Dasara events, its history, planning a visit and accommodation, besides a photo gallery. It also facilitates booking and pass management for Dasara Gold Cards, reserved seating for Jumboo Savari and the Torchlight Parade.

Interactive schedules and venue maps provide day-wise details of major events, including Yuva Dasara, Aahara Mela, Dasara Flower Show, Raitha Dasara and the Dasara Exhibition. The website also provides official press releases, media accreditation forms and high-resolution photographs.

Visitors can download procession route and parking maps, besides accessing real-time traffic diversion advisories issued by the Mysuru City Traffic Police.

Once the festival begins, the website will also carry high-definition live feeds of the daily palace illumination, cultural programmes and the Jumboo Savari for viewers across the world, sources said.

The website has separate tabs for event schedules and other Dasara-related information, allowing visitors to access details through smartphones, tablets and desktops.

Another feature is the real-time ‘Ask Gajju and Ammu’ AI chat bot facility, which provides round-the-clock information on festival schedules, venue details and ticketing. The feature uses two digital local guides, ‘Gajju’ and ‘Ammu’, to provide information in a conversational format.

Sources said the contract for designing the website had been outsourced this year to Pitchfact Technologies LLP.
