Egyptian Red Crescent Dispatches 99th 'Zad Al-Ezza' Aid Convoy to Gaza

From Egypt to Gaza" convoy, dispatching a fleet of trucks carrying urgent humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. The initiative is part of the organization's ongoing mandate as the national mechanism for coordinating aid efforts to the region.
In response to severe weather conditions, the Egyptian Red Crescent continues to deliver essential winter supplies. The latest shipment includes 300 blankets, more than 22,000 items of winter clothing, approximately 3,000 mattresses, and 3,500 tents to provide shelter for displaced residents.
Marking its 99th day of operations, the "Zad Al-Ezza" initiative has facilitated the delivery of massive quantities of aid. Total figures include approximately 130,000 food baskets, 700 tons of flour, 1,800 tons of essential medical and relief supplies, and 1,300 tons of petroleum products.
The “Zad Al-Ezza... From Egypt to Gaza" first departed on July 27, carrying thousands of tons of diverse supplies, including food, flour, infant formula, medicines, and personal hygiene items.
As the primary coordinator for aid dispatched to Gaza, the Egyptian Red Crescent has maintained a constant presence at the border since the onset of the crisis. Officials noted that the Rafah crossing has remained open on the Egyptian side throughout the conflict. The association continues to operate its logistical centers around the clock, supported by a network of 35,000 volunteers who have facilitated the delivery of more than 500,000 tons of humanitarian and relief aid to date.
