Newcastle United put a poor Premier League run behind them with a late win against Manchester United at St James' Park - and Toon fans at the match absolutely loved it. After a series of disappointing home performances, a 2-1 victory from Eddie Howe's men was just the tonic for thousands in the stands.

After an Anthony Gordon penalty had put NUFC ahead, Manchester United's Casemiro levelled in first-half injury time. But an absorbing game had a sting in the tale which saw Danish forward William Osula steal the limelight and score a showstopping winner - marking the best moment of his NUFC career so far.

The home fans in the famous ground loved it. The majority of the 52,184 fans in attendance will have left Barrack Road happy.

And if you were among them, you might have been snapped by ChronicleLive photographer Iain Buist. As ever, he has pictured hundreds of excited Toon fans. See if you can spot yourself below.
