Namco Legendary Mountains follows the same principles as Suika Game, but with the element of 3D as in Fruit Mountain. Different icons from the company’s series’ appear in clear bubbles. We toss them at a black plate from different angles, and we can also move around the edges of it to shoot from different positions. If we combine like items, they merge to create a new, bigger one. Using the official trailer as an example, tossing two Pac-Man items at each other will cause them to combine and become Taizo Hori from Dig Dug. If two Taizos hit each other, they become Mappy the mouse.
Here’s the official trailer that shows exactly how the process works. It also confirms appearances of items from Druaga and Xevious.
