When it comes to finding the best gaming laptop deals, it's usually the same big-name retailers that crop up again and again - Best Buy, Amazon, Newegg, and so on. Right now, however, I'd argue that B&H Photo has them all beat when it comes to great value options.

On browsing the retailer's current listings, I was surprised at just how good the price cuts are for RTX 5060, RTX 5070, and RTX 5080 machines this week. In fact, they're among the best deals I've seen this year.

For example, you can currently get an Acer Nitro V with an RTX 5070 for $1,199 (was $1,399) at B&H Photo - a great price for a machine with this card. The downside with this particular deal is that this config only comes with 16GB of RAM, but you can choose to drop down to an RTX 5060 and get 32GB of DDR5 RAM for $1,149 (was $1,249), which again, is a good deal considering how expensive RAM is at the moment.

Higher-end options today include this Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 for $1,499 (was $1,849) at B&H Photo. If I were looking for a machine for my own personal use, I'd be severely tempted by this one in particular due to its RTX 5070, Intel Ultra 9 chipset, and 32GB of RAM. These are not only good specs for the price, but also powerful enough to avoid any upgrades for outstanding performance on this machine's 1600p 240z display.

I've included one more surprise gaming laptop for those looking for something truly powerful just down below - as well as further details on the machines I've already covered.

Today's best gaming laptop deals

Acer Nitro V gaming laptop: was $1,249.99 now $1,149.99 at BHPhoto

Graphics card: RTX 5060
Processor: Intel Core 7
RAM: 32GB
Storage: 512GB SSD

While a little on the pricey end for a machine with a mid-range RTX 5060 graphics card, this Acer Nitro V makes up for it with a decent chipset and 32GB of RAM. It's increasingly difficult to find a machine with 32GB of RAM these days, with prices so high, so this is a rare example of a gaming laptop that will run great right out of the box without completely breaking the bank.

For just $50 more than the laptop above, you can get your hands on this RTX 5070-equipped Acer Nitro V. On paper, this one is a fantastic deal - although you do drop down to 16GB of RAM, which is a bit of a bummer considering it's so pricey to upgrade yourself these days. Still, if you're willing to consider that, then this could be a good option since the RTX 5070 should give you more of an edge when it comes to performance.

MSI Raider A18 HX gaming laptop: was $3,499 now $2,899 at BHPhoto

Graphics card: RTX 5080

If you're looking for the ultimate in performance, you really can't beat this MSI Raider A18. Alongside an RTX 5080 graphics card, you're also getting a high-end Ryzen 9 chipset and a massive 2TB SSD. With that said, even with such a big price cut, this machine is still very pricey. At 18-inches, it's also massive, so it's not one to go for if you value portability in your laptop.
