Kerry Katona admits she felt triggered after being robbed in London last week.

Explaining what happened, she wrote in her OK! column: "I was robbed in London while staying in a hotel in Mayfair last week – I couldn’t believe it, I have the worst luck.

"Ryan and I were checking in to the hotel, which I won’t name, and since our room wasn’t ready we left our bags with the concierge and grabbed some lunch.

"I left my Gucci holdall with them which had all my medication in it for my back and chronic pain, the phone I use for my banking apps, my earphones and much more."

Kerry identified the man who took her belongings but hasn't been given them back.

She continued: "I did notice a man who was acting strangely in the hotel lobby while we were there but I don’t like to judge people, so didn’t think anything of it. However, later the hotel said my bag was missing and after checking the CCTV, we saw him take it once Ryan and I had left.

"It was so triggering for me and I did feel emotional afterwards, it’s just so scary to think you’re not safe."

The former Atomic Kitten singer fears for her safety being a public figure when upsetting incidents like this happen.

"Thankfully, Ryan and I are OK and things can be replaced, it’s just frustrating and scary. I don’t understand how people can wake up and decide to do these things, it’s awful," she said.

"When things like this happen it makes me scared to go out as I don’t want to be targeted."
