Married People Who Opened Up Your Relationship, Tell Us About Your Experience

Like many, I'm mid-way through binging The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, and let me say, I am RIVETED.

Recently, I also read a memoir called More: A Memoir of Open Marriage, which tells the story of a woman navigating sex and relationships outside of her marriage.

These women's stories have made me curious to hear about people who have opened up their marriages. So, married members of the BuzzFeed Community, have you ever opened up your marriage?

If so, did you always anticipate this would be a core part of your relationship, or was opening up the marriage a surprise?

Did you and your spouse feel like your marriage would benefit from "swinging"? That it would be a sort of sexual adventure you and your partner could take together?

How did you go about finding other people to be intimate with? Did you use a dating app? Did you attend an event? Did you proposition a friend or another couple you already knew?
