Ruby — who has famously starred in TV shows and movies including Orange Is the New Black, Batwoman, and John Wick: Chapter 2 — responded to a Threads post over the weekend about Katy’s reaction to Justin Bieber’s Coachella set.

Ruby alleged, “Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a shit what she thinks.”

When a Threads user asked for more details, Ruby claimed, “After it I threw up on her. I told the story publicly but changed it to be a ‘funny little drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it. Later she agreed to help me get my US visa. So I kept it a secret. But I DID tell yall she wasn’t a good person. Instead I got attacked by.. everyone.”

She claimed in a separate post, “I was only in my early 20s. I’m now 40. It has taken almost 2 decades to say this publicly. Though I am so grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice, it just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault takes. Thank you for seeing me.”

Ruby further alleged of Katy: “She didn’t kiss me. She saw me ‘resting’ on my best friends lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side and rubbed her disgusting vagina on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomitted on her.”

Responding to someone who questioned the legitimacy of her claims, Ruby alleged: “[Katy] is more than welcome to sue me (she won’t, because it happened, I have photos and it was literally in public and witnessed by multiple people). Plus there is so much more that happened in the years leading up to her silly song she won’t want me discussing. The psychological manipulation was strong with that one.”

For context, Ruby previously slammed Katy’s 2017 song “Swish Swish,” which was widely presumed to be about Taylor Swift, whom Katy had been feuding with for years. Ruby, who was super close with Taylor at the time, criticized Katy’s lyrics, chart sales, and her political activism.

After sharing the flurry of posts against Katy, Ruby ended up backtracking, writing that, “Being mean doesn't suit me and leaves me feeling dirty.” She then tweeted, “Get so triggered when I think bullies don’t get held accountable and it makes me think I should say something.. but it’s not place.”

In another 2017 post, Ruby said, “I have always believed strongly that Karma exists and the truth always surfaces however I’m not god and I can’t decide when or how that is.”

Meanwhile, recently responding to someone who questioned if she’d filed an official report, Ruby claimed that she’d “Just left the police station.”

Katy's rep has since denied Ruby's claims in a statement shared with Rolling Stone. "The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies," they said in a statement. "Ms. Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named."
