Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey is taking over the big screen, the internet, and every social circle I'm a part of. With its star-studded cast, incredible creative team, and fully IMAX experience, it's already generating Oscar buzz. And as the cast continues their press tour for the film, the internet is getting more and more sneak peeks every day of what it was like to be on the set of such an incredible project.

And Elliot Page is one of them. This isn't the first time Page has worked with Christopher Nolan — they previously collaborated on the 2010 film Inception. And during an interview on The Daily Show, Page was quick to gush about what it was like reuniting with Nolan for a second time.

He told Desi Lydic, "Working with someone like Chris, who obviously has such impeccable vision and execution ... I was terrified, and just, I wanted to make sure I did a good job." And fans could testify that Page was indeed incredible in his role as Sinon in The Odyssey.

But the thing that stood out to some fans the most — especially fellow Canadians — was when Elliot Page explained why he was much more prepared for filming The Odyssey than some of their castmates. And the reason might surprise you.

When Desi Lydic asked Elliot Page, "I heard that the filming of this was no easy feat; that it was incredibly hard and gruelling at times. You were hiking in water, in mud. All of the actors have been talking about this whole process. What was the hardest day on set for you? Or was it easy, and Matt Damon is just acting like a big baby?"

Elliot laughed, then responded, "The challenging things were mostly weather and temperature ... but I'm lucky in that I grew up working in Canada as a kid. So I'm used to ... working in some pretty brutal temperatures." Desi Lydic retorted with a smile: "Take it easy, you have healthcare, alright!"

There you have it. Who knew growing up in Canada would prepare Elliot Page for the role of a lifetime? As a fellow Canadian, I couldn't be prouder.
