In 2013, she told Complex, "I've had a ghost/demon experience. We were in Kansas City a few weeks ago and went to this haunted castle and were so excited. The next night, we wanted to go to Stull Cemetery, which is known as one of the seven gates to hell on Earth. … I felt this sick, overwhelming feeling of negativity over the whole car, and we smelled sulfur, which is the sign of a demon, and there was a fly in the car randomly, which is another sign of a demon."
She continued, "I was like, 'This is scary, let's leave.' I rolled down the window before we left and said, 'We apologize. We didn't mean to disrupt your peace.' Then, I took a picture, and there are three super distinct faces in the picture — they're faces of textbook demons."
2. Kesha was once woken up by a ghost in a "sensual way" while she was in bed asleep next to her boyfriend.
Back in 2012, Kesha told Conan O'Brien that she'd gone "to the bone zone with a ghost," while she was on a trip in Fort Worth, Texas. Years later, she clarified that she didn't actually have sex with the ghost, but while she was in bed with her boyfriend, she was woken up by "a touch down the body." She added, "I woke up and looked at the end of the bed, and there was an apparition of a woman."
3. Vanessa Hudgens has admitted to having several run-ins with spiritual entities over the years. She said, "I've accepted the fact that I see things and I hear things."
On an episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, Vanessa told Kelly about one of the first supernatural encounters she had when she was only 8 years old. "I remember getting ready for school when I was 8 years old, and there was...you know, those ducks [toys] that you pull [the string]? There was one of those on the dining room table, and I started walking, and it just started going alongside me," she said. "I kind of shut it down for a while because it's scary. The unknown is scary. But recently, I was like, 'No, this is a gift and something that I have the ability to do, so I'm going to lean into it.'"
She also revealed that she sometimes uses a spirit box (a tool used by ghost hunters to analyze radio frequencies) to help her understand what the ghosts are saying.
4. Demi Lovato shared that her childhood home in Texas was haunted by a little girl named Emily.
Back in 2013, they told BuzzFeed, "My house in Texas is so ridiculously haunted. Not by a bad spirit, but a little girl. I think her name is Emily. I've had a medium come over and ghost hunters, and they both told me the same name, Emily. There were so many times that I saw her when I was growing up. I saw her in my closet one time. When I was 3 years old, my mom caught me talking to something by myself. She asked, 'Who are you talking to?' and I said, 'My best friend Emily.' She's playful. She'd probably be around 11 or 12 years old, maybe younger."
She added that she has a strong connection to the afterlife: "I believe that everyone can tune into that part of their mind. I think I have a really strong connection to the afterlife. … When I walk into a room, I can tell if something has happened there or not or if a hotel is haunted."
In 2021, Demi's ghost-hunting show Unidentified with Demi Lovato premiered on Peacock where she appeared to communicate and sing to a ghost who didn't "like men."
5. Keanu Reeves and his nanny saw a ghost appear in his room, while his sister was fast asleep next to them.
In 2014, he told Jimmy Kimmel, "I'm probably, like, 6, 7 years old, we'd come from Australia. Renata, [our] nanny, in the bedroom, my sister is asleep, she's sitting over there, I'm hanging out. There was a doorway, and all of a sudden, this jacket comes waving through the doorway, this empty jacket — there's no body, there's no legs, it's just there. And then, it disappears."
He added, "I was a little kid, and I thought, 'Okay, that's interesting,' and I looked over at the nanny, and she [was making this terrified face]. And I'm like, 'Oh, wow, so that was real.'"
6. La Toya Jackson claims that at her family home, she can still feel the presence of her brother, Michael Jackson, who died in 2009.

7. Miz Cracker lived in a haunted house with her friends while they were in college, she also revealed that the supernatural activity caused a "total unraveling" of their friendship and sanity.
She told Entertainment Weekly, that over the course of six months, she and her roommates remembered waking up in the middle of the night to the sounds of someone making weird noises in the kitchen and walking around upstairs. She said, "Our friendships deteriorated. One of the girls legitimately lost her mind and is now fully missing. It was sort of like an Amity Horror-type film where we were sleep deprived, twitchy people who were haunted."
She added, "I came home, and the house was apparently empty. I heard mild laughter [upstairs]. … I hadn't heard my roommate laugh in so long. I went upstairs, and the door was ajar, so I was going to go in and jump on her bed like the old days. I opened the door, and the room was blacked out fully, the windows were covered with blankets. She was sitting and laughing into the heating vent. … I was like, 'Brooke, what are you doing?' And she turned around and was like, 'What do you want!?' Just monster-like crazy, her eyes were spinning, like that little giggly laughter just snapped off, and I ran out of that room and out of the house. … It was the craziest Exorcist transition I've ever seen in person."

16. Miley Cyrus experienced some kind of otherworldly forces while she was staying in a haunted apartment in London.
"It was seriously so terrifying. … I was having really crazy dreams and really scary things, and one night my little sister — it sounds crazy to tell you — but she was standing in the shower, and all of a sudden, I hear her scream. I run in there, and the water had somehow flipped to hot, but it was still. … It wasn't like the water had just changed, the knob had turned, but she hadn't turned it, and it was burning her. She was really red," she told Elle UK.
"Before I felt this, I thought I had seen a little boy sitting on the sink watching me take a shower, so I felt really freaked out," she added before saying that she ended up leaving the apartment and staying somewhere else.
17. Finally, Chloë Sevigny heard supernatural "moaning and groaning" one night when she and her then-boyfriend spent the night in the house where Lizzie Borden allegedly killed her father and stepmother with an axe in 1892.
She told Entertainment Weekly, "I kept hearing all these weird moaning and groaning noises, but there wasn't anybody else in the house. It was terrifying. It was pretty early, and [my then-boyfriend] was like, 'I have to leave.'"
The creepy encounter inspired her to produce and star in Lizzie, the 2018 movie that reimagined Lizzie Borden's infamous crime.
