Jamie's impressive run puts him at fifth on the leaderboard for most consecutive wins, behind James Holzhauer at 32 games, Matt Amodio at 38 games, Amy Schneider at 40 games, and Ken Jennings at a whopping 74 games.
Now, in an interview with People, Jamie shared one really important thing he hopes Americans will take away from seeing his incredible run on the show.
Jamie told People that it made him really happy to learn that so many people were watching him on the show and rooting for him. "I kept hearing how it was bringing people together, and I love that very much. I've heard people say, 'It's nice to have something positive on TV!'"
"Jeopardy! really is an institution, and America's turning 250 years old, and the federal government is going after immigrants in a way unlike anything that we've seen in the recent past," he continued. "So I hope that immigrants can be seen in a positive light too."
