MAGA Supporters Are Posting The Most Unhinged Reactions To Trump's Threat On Iran, And You Need To See It For Yourself

This morning, Donald Trump posted an alarming message on Truth Social.

"A whole civilization will die tonight, never to be brought back again," Trump wrote. "I don't want that to happen, but it probably will. However, now that we have Complete and Total Regime Change, where different, smarter, and less radicalized minds prevail, maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS?"

"We will find out tonight, one of the most important moments in the long and complex history of the World," he concluded. "47 years of extortion, corruption, and death, will finally end. God Bless the Great People of Iran!"

Online, politicians and everyday people alike are calling for his removal from office.

However, we at BuzzFeed wondered how his loyal base — aka MAGA voters — were reacting to this news. So, we scoured the r/conservative subreddit, and you may be surprised by what we found.

Some think he's bluffing:

"We're in year 11 of Trump entering the political sphere and people still treat everything he says as 'OH MY GAHHHD CAN YOU BELIEVE HE SAID THAT?! WHAT THA FAAAAA'."

"Oh my god the pearl clutching here. Do you people ACTUALLY think Trump is like going to glass Iran or something? Seriously?"

Or they tried to justify his language. "He's not talking about average Iranian citizens," someone claimed. "He's talking about the regime. They are not the same people."

Others question if he may be telling the truth. "this is Trump we are talking about," someone wrote. "so you never know."

And, alarmingly, many in his base are cheering him on.

"Sucks to be a terrorist. Maybe don't threaten the most powerful nation on earth with nuclear weapons next spawn?"

"Go into war to win. Not drag it out like Vietnam. Y'all may not like the phrasing, but I like that he's going into this with a 'in to win at all costs perspective.'"

"The guys are playing games with the most powerful country in the world. They literally decided to challenge us on that Hormuz thing and oil prices. So that's their choice. I really hope civilians don't get hurt, but enemy's militia will be destroyed."

"What's the alternative? Allowing the regime to regain power and continue another 47 years of terrorism? I don't understand the pearl clutching here."

"This is your final warning Iran. You mess with the bull, you get the horns."

And some who approve of Trump's actions believe that anyone opposing must be an internet bot.

Very few are asking for this to end.

"Hopefully this is just posturing speak and he doesn't actually wipe out the civilians that he was aiming to protect from the start of this whole thing."
