Harry Styles Gig Reactions As Wembley Turns Into A Sauna During UK Heatwave

by · BuzzFeed

The UK heatwave is currently testing the limits of what Brits can endure, with packed trains, sleepless nights, office fans working overtime – and, for thousands of Harry Styles fans, standing shoulder-to-shoulder in Wembley Stadium while temperatures turn the capital into a giant air fryer.

As the country swelters through, many music lovers are refusing to let it get in the way of the long-awaited Harry Styles Together, Together tour.

With temperatures expected to climb as high as 38-39°C, Wembley Stadium made a rare last-minute rule change ahead of Tuesday night's show (23 June), temporarily relaxing its usual water bottle policy. Fans were permitted to bring metal and hard plastic water bottles into the venue, which could then be topped up at free refill stations throughout the stadium.

Before long, it became clear that Styles wasn't the only thing fans would be talking about after the show.

According to one gig-goer, temperatures were so intense that some people allegedly abandoned their seats altogether and headed indoors, opting to sit on the shaded floor instead.

One fan joked that the concert was "not for the weak" as temperatures continued to soar.

truthfully i have never felt more disgusting (sweaty) in my life. harry styles in 34° is not for the weak i feel like i've been yanked through a hedge backwards

Another admitted that if the gig wasn’t Styles, they would have ditched entirely.

genuinely if that hadn’t have been a Harry show, i wouldn’t have gone or bare minimum i think i would’ve left early coz that heat was unbearable

Meanwhile, one pointed out that while everyone was focused on the crowd, Styles himself deserves some sympathy, too.

Everyone’s talking about the fans, but spare a thought for Harry Styles. Imagine trying to do a full energetic stadium show in 33°C heat. If he wants to spend half the gig sitting on a stool with a cold flannel on his neck, I’d fully support it. Nobody’s expecting Olympic-level… pic.twitter.com/9JyOFA8wRi

Elsewhere, it’s not much cooler indoors either, as Brits retreat to the timeline like it’s a national coping mechanism.

32 degrees abroad - absolutely amazing and the best thing ever.

32 degrees in the UK - feels like you're getting cooked in a fucking air fryer on the max crisp setting.
