Kourtney Kardashian Might've Just Credited Kanye West For Helping Her Find Husband Travis Barker, And The People Who Are Shocked Shouldn't Be

Kanye West might be a goldmine when it comes to giving advice. On the Thursday, Oct. 22, episode of The Kardashians, Kourtney Kardashian Barker recalled some wise words that she got from Ye back in the day that helped her find her husband, Travis Barker.
The reality TV star said she wanted to share the advice with her stepson Landon Barker, 23, because he planned to throw parties at his new home. While touring the abode, she told him that it's always best to "wait for marriage" before you have sex.
Kourtney noted that Kanye gave her this advice years ago when he was still married to her sister, Kim Kardashian. (Kim and Kanye were married from 2014 to 2021.)
"I remember Kanye told me, ‘I feel like God is calling me to tell you that you should not hook up with any randoms until you are with your husband,’" Kourtney recalled.
"And I didn’t," she continued. Kourtney added that she also didn't wait until her and Travis' wedding day to have sex, but it seems safe to say that she saved herself for the right one once she knew she had found him.
Meanwhile, some fans are questioning why Kourtney would ever take Kayne's advice in the first place, given his current status and estrangement from the rest of the Kardashian clan. But they're forgetting that for more than half a decade, Kayne was Kourtney's brother-in-law.
These people are ALSO forgetting that Kourtney was there from the very start when Kanye first started crushing on Kim while filming Kim & Kourtney Take New York.
While she was married, no less! The Kimye historical timeline is fascinating.
Heck, they even dressed up in coordinated costumes for Kim's 32nd birthday party. (2012 was a weird time.)
So, of course, Kourtney would consider the advice from someone she had known for decades and had been a literal part of her family.
Plus, Kanye has been known to give some good advice from time to time.
