Fox News just discussed the Department of War's "High — T Department," a new testosterone screening program for US soldiers, and things got uncomfortable very quickly.
On the panel show The Five, Jesse Watters jokingly warned military and civilian women to "watch out" for soldiers who start taking more testosterone.
Watters: Women on base, you better be careful. Port calls, women in Asia, you better be careful. Because these guys are going to be wild animals and you better watch out. pic.twitter.com/R95gFpYEmA

"The guys that don't need it are gonna take it to triple boost. And then they're gonna get out there, and women on base, you guys better be careful," he chuckled.
"Port calls, women in Asia, you better be careful. Because these guys are going to be wild animals, and you'd better watch out."
Right after Watters finished speaking, the panel remained silent for a few moments, while some panelists awkwardly chuckled.
This, of course, isn't Watters' first time making inappropriate comments. In April, he made jokes about Congressman Eric Swalwell's allegations of sexual abuse on air.
Online, people were outraged, with many insinuating that he was mocking sexual assault. "Ho ho, ha ha, watch out ladies you’re gonna get raped by US soldiers like untold millions of other women, ha ha, wocka wocka, comedy laugh laugh."
"Is this MFer talking about rape? Because it sure as hell sounds like he's talking about rape."
Other people shamed Fox News for airing it. "Fox is a disgusting, toxic, revolting network that platforms the worst of humanity, peddles in lies, and pays people well to put it all on full display. But this seems to be what their viewers want, which says a lot about them as well."
"This is one of the most vile and disgusting things I’ve seen someone say on Fox — which is saying something."
"Wild that in 2026 people can just be out here on TV casually discussing rape and sexual assault like it's no big deal."
"this isn’t funny - this is horrific, unforgivable, and grotesque. sexual assault is never funny, rape is never funny, and saying shit like this with the specific history of militaries committing sexual violence to fellow military members and locals is actually crazy."
"men will openly say things like this and then call every rape victim a liar."
"No woman should ever feel safe around this person or anyone like him."
