If you were into fashion and pop culture in the 2010s, you'll remember that Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne were somewhat of an iconic duo.

As two of the industry's top models at the time, the pair developed a very close friendship — they even coined their own nickname, CaKe. Who could forget the matching shirts?

They were frequently spotted together on and off the runway, and their bond became such a talking point that they even became entangled in dating rumors.

Now, after all these years, Kendall's finally addressing it.

On Sept. 17, Hulu dropped the trailer for the upcoming season of The Kardashians. In it, Caitlyn Jenner makes a rare appearance to question Kendall about her dating life.

"Since I never get to know, how's the love life?" Caitlyn asks her notoriously private daughter.

At this point, the trailer cuts to some footage of Cara and Kendall together in Paris for the L'Oréal runway show last September.

In her confessional, Kendall says, "There's definitely a rumor that Cara and I, like, dated, which is not true."

Then, in the next batch of footage, we see Cara and Kendall backstage at the show. Cara goes to pull the curtain across to give them some privacy, and Kendall — who is slouched in a chair with a glass of red wine in her hand — jumps at the chance to make a risqué joke.

"By the way, I have nothing against having sex with Cara," she says, prompting Cara to make direct eye contact with the camera.

"Never say never, right?" she adds, to which Cara lets out a massive laugh — seemingly telling us everything we need to know about the seriousness of this comment.

As you may know, this isn't the first time that Kendall has addressed speculation about her sexuality. Earlier this year, the 30-year-old called out longstanding rumors that she's a lesbian, but hasn't come out publicly out of fear of damaging the Kardashian family brand.

"There's the whole side of the internet that thinks I'm a lesbian," Kendall said on the Jan. 9 episode of the In My Dreams podcast. "You want to know what really bothers me? How mean people are about it. It's not with, like, a welcoming arm of like, 'Hey, if you were, yes, come join.' It's not kind. It's very mean. It's very like, 'What the fuck are you doing?'"

Setting the record straight, she continued: "I understand that coming out is not an easy thing for anybody, if not most people. And I'm not saying that's an easy thing, but knowing, and I can speak for myself here, and knowing myself, I think at this point in my life I'd be out if I was." Kendall is now rumored to be dating Jacob Elordi.

Cara, on the other hand, identifies as a "proud lesbian." She has been in a relationship with British musician and singer-songwriter Minke since 2022.

I don't know about you, but seeing Kendall and Cara together in 2026 is making me all kinds of nostalgic for the 2010s.

The new season of The Kardashians premieres on Oct. 8 on Hulu and Disney+. You can watch the trailer here.
