This New Poll About Trump’s Ballroom Is So Absurd And So Deeply Funny

It seems like Donald Trump is physically incapable of not talking about his ballroom.

For those who haven't been caught up to speed, the project has hit a few snags. Now, Republicans are asking for $1 billion in taxpayer money to fund it.

Remember when he said it would only cost $200 million and be fully self-funded? Yeah, no, it appears those days are long gone.

That hasn't stopped Trump from pushing his "WE NEED THE BALLROOM" narrative. On Wednesday, he doubled down on how popular the project is: "It really has become very popular. When people see the design, they really like it. It's been great, gotten some great reviews."

Well, CNN decided to fact-check that "popularity," and they showed, in VERY clear terms, just how deeply unpopular this project actually is:

Sooo, ghosts and telepathy are apparently more popular than the damn ballroom!

That screenshot has (rightfully) gone viral, and the responses have me thinking. Here are the best ones:

"American support for GHOSTS is at an ALL-TIME HIGH!"

"it cannot be true that approximately 3/10 americans believe in telepathy. I don't want to believe it."
