French spy service drops Palantir – POLITICO
by Océane Herrero · POLITICOPARIS — France's domestic intelligence service is ending its contract with U.S. surveillance technology giant Palantir, it said on Tuesday morning.
The General Directorate for Internal Security (DGSI) picked French firm ChapsVision to "replace the American giant Palantir,” Prime Minister Sébastien Lecornu said in an online video published on the eve of the opening of the country's biggest tech conference VivaTech.
The DGSI has worked with Palantir since 2016. It renewed its contract in December 2025, which was due to run until 2028.
