In a video uploaded on Instagram on October 20, 2026, Christopher Miles, professionally known as Chris Miles, reflected on what happened to the young model. He called her a genuine soul before seemingly confirming that she took her own life. In the video, he also spoke about how beautiful she was, both inside and out, and admitted that he was punching above his weight when it came to her.

Chris Miles revealed that he often felt that he had no business dating someone as pure and genuine as Sahara Ray and would wonder what led her to agree to date him. While he didn't reveal whether they were together during Ray's final days, he did confirm that she had taught him a lot over the years. Miles admitted that they had been through a lot together and said:

"Sahara was such like...most creative, beautiful human being. She was so out of my league, first of all...I had no right to be dating that woman...like what the fuck was she thinking, but that girl was so creative, so cool, put me on to so much shit, like fashion-wise, music-wise, taught me so much even if it was unintentional, like love lessons she taught me, showed me so much spiritually, went through so much together."

In the same video, he also admitted that Sahara Miles didn't just inspire him to be better professionally and personally, but also gave his thoughts a home. He revealed that he always felt safe talking to her, as she understood what he was going through. He concluded the video by calling her authentic and raw, and expressed his love for her. He was quoted as saying:

"She was so bright; sometimes she would blind herself with it, realizing how worthy she was. And talking to her, we felt safe because we battled a lot of the same demons. She saw me for who I was, and I saw her for who she was, and it was scary because that shit was so authentic, real, and raw. I love her so much."

Christopher Miles Marshak, known as Chris Miles, is a rapper. He rose to fame with his participation in America's Got Talent after the video went viral. He was born on May 3, 1999, in Long Island, New York. While not much is known about his personal life, he is known for his tracks, including Dial Tone, 80 Bars, Nothing Feels the Same, and Miss Me.

Talking about his relationship with Sahara Ray, the couple seemed to share a good bond with each other, as Miles shared a screenshot of their conversation dated September 23, 2026. Other than that, Chris Miles and Ray also had matching tattoos; in the tribute post he shared for Sahara, the rapper also featured a picture of their inks. His tattoo read, "Sahara killed me", while Ray's read, "Chris saved me".

Looking at their Instagram handle, it can be alleged that they were together around 2023. However, it seemed like they had ended things, as Sahara Ray went on to have a child with a mysterious man named Michael Bradley Dow in January 2026.
