Keeping Up With The Kardashians is not just any other reality show; it is a comfort watch for fans to get through their boring/plain days in life. The classic show has been one of the most talked-about family shows in the entertainment world that redefined reality shows like nothing else. Consequently, when viewers saw a clock ticking inside the Peacock app signalling the show's removal, it sparked instant shock and fury among others. There was no prior intimation, no flashy banner and no warning indicating that the 20-season series would officially leave the platform. Since numerous fans are upset and seeking answers, here's what we know about Keeping Up With the Kardashians leaving Peacock.

Why did Keeping Up With The Kardashians leave Peacock?

Peacock stopped streaming Keeping Up With The Kardashians after December 30, 2025. Unlike other times where viewers have prior updates about such decisions, in this case, they found out about the end of the show's run through an in-app timer. Needless to say, the exit of a major series that long dominated Peacock's reality show section is unsettling for fans. Some theories have alleged to explain the cause behind the sudden exit, but there is no confirmed reason for it. One of them, backed by industry reports, suggests that the show's streaming license might have expired, leading to strategic shifts in streaming.

Another narrative suggested that the exit of classic series from a major streaming giant might be a reason for the reported decline in the show's views. According to other reports, KUWTK originally had a long-standing partnership with Peacock after NBCUniversal reclaimed the rights from Hulu in 2022 to strengthen the streaming giant's content lineup. However, the internal agreement might have expired towards the end of 2025. Although such removal is common in the streaming world, the lack of any prior update has left fans upset who did not get an opportunity to stream all or their favorite episodes at once. In turn, The Sun US has reported that many subscribers have mentioned that the show was the primary reason for purchasing the subscription, and they might also leave it.

Where can fans still watch Keeping Up With the Kardashians after its exit from Peacock?

As of now, Keeping Up With the Kardashians is available to watch on YouTube TV, but only for select seasons. Likewise, certain selected episodes can be reportedly rented or purchased through Amazon Prime Video and Apple TV. Meanwhile, Peacock will continue to host certain Kardashian-related spinoffs while the family's latest series, The Kardashians, streams on Hulu and Disney+. On the other hand, some international viewers, especially those in India, can access the new show on JioHotstar after the Disney-Jio merger. Still losing the 20-season run feels like losing a piece of nostalgia to fans.
