Joni Lamb's DIL, Suzy Lamb's Post On Mother-In-Law's Demise At 65 Surfaces, 'Pain, Anger And Loss..'

Joni Lamb passed away at the age of 65, and amid this, her daughter-in-law, Suzy Lamb, posted a note expressing her feelings.

Joni Lamb, the longtime president and co-founder of Daystar Television Network, passed away at the age of 65. The report was first released by Daystar through a statement. The reason for her passing was not publicly disclosed, but it is known that Joni was suffering from a health issue, which eventually worsened with her back pain, something about which she posted a few days before passing away.

With her passing, all the controversies around Joni Lamb and Daystar also started hitting the headlines yet again. Among others, one was about Joni's son and daughter-in-law, Jonathan and Suzy. Jonathan and Suzy made some shocking claims about Joni, which she denied. However, Jonathan was removed from Daystar, and there was no confirmation whether they had reconciled before Joni's passing or not.

Suzy Lamb's note on grief amid Joni Lamb's passing grabs attention

As it seems, things remained as it was, as Suzy, in a comment, revealed that she and Jonathan were not informed about the death of Joni, and although they were just down the street, they were not asked to come and say goodbye. Well, she also dropped a post wherein she added that she was with trembling hands, while adding that people should fear God.

Now, she again posted a note on X (Twitter), wherein she added that grief is a crazy road, and it's amalgamated with love, pain, anger and loss, and it's a path that she actually hates. She also stated that it's a horrible experience to navigate, but the only way to overcome this and heal is to sit with it. Speaking of how God helps, Suzy wrote:

"Grief is a crazy road that I really hate. It’s a mix of love, pain, anger, loss & so much more all mixed up in a bag and each time you cry it’s for a different emotion. Can’t avoid it, you have to face it & it’s horrible for a while.. but then you heal.  Thank God for His Holy Spirit who brings comfort & peace. The only reason we’re standing is because we didn’t do anything in the flesh but in obedience to God. That is all that is needed to keep on keeping on in life- obeying God at any crushing personal cost, because He loves us and gives us the strength to do what He requires of us. He is worth it all."

In the comment section, a user asked Suzy to be gracious to her late mother-in-law. To this, Suzy said that pain just doesn't disappear, but it cuts through. To mention, Jonathan was fired from Daystar back in 2024, and he was accused of running a smear campaign in Daystar and manipulating his way to leadership. Joni also revealed that Jonathan was fired after a 15-month performance review, during which he failed to satisfy a performance improvement plan. Reportedly, Jonathan wanted to be the President of Daystar after his dad's passing, a responsibility which Marcus had already given to his wife, Joni, even before he passed away in 2021.

What allegations did Suzy Lamb have against Joni Lamb?

This firing came just after some shocking allegations were made against Joni and Marcus. Suzy alleged that her then-five-year-old daughter, was sexually assaulted by a family member named Pete at a beach house in Florida. When Suzy reported the same to Joni, she allegedly asked them not to disclose the same to the police and said that she would talk to the child, which she reportedly didn't.

Suzy further claimed that she was also sexually assaulted in 2017 by an unlicensed chiropractor her in-laws had hired, as shared by The Roys Reports, and was asked not to make it public. While Suzy and Jonathan filed their case with the police, as their daughter was not able to speak about the same, the case was closed, and it was later reopened; however, it was closed again due to a lack of evidence and no charges. Joni, on the other hand, has denied all the allegations.
