Gordon Ramsay's Daughter's Mother-In-Law Blames Her For Broken Family, Aunt Writes, 'Shame On You'

Gordon Ramsay's daughter, Holly Ramsay, is getting all the blame for her husband, Adam Peaty's broken relationship with his parents, as they were not invited to the wedding.

As an Olympic swimmer, Adam Peaty said his vows to Holly Ramsay, his mother, Caroline's soul is screaming. She and her entire family have been hurt because Adam chose not to invite his mother and father to the wedding at the historic venue. The mother, Caroline, has been going through grief after being uninvited to her son's wedding, and claimed that she has not been hurt like this ever.

Adam and Holly were declared husband and wife on December 27, 2025, and they left the church at around 1:30 p.m. The two drove to their reception at Kin House, a Georgian manor house which was 17 miles away, near Chippenham. They partied throughout the night as they celebrated the union with a wedding cake that was served at 8 p.m. But his heartbroken mother, Caroline, was alone with the grief of not being invited to the most special day of her son's life.

Seeing the family feud, Adam's aunt, Louise, decided to send him a text. Without mincing her words, Caroline's sister sent a text message ot him moments before his wedding and shared her thoughts on his marriage without the family's presence. In the text message, she hoped that Adam suffers the depth of pain that he had put his mother through, and despite it, she still loves him. Her text can be read as:

"I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame. Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams."

It is worth mentioning that the wedding was attended by Holly's father, Gordon Ramsay, who is a celebrity chef. Her sisters, Tilly and Mega, her mother, Tana, and brother, Jack. Various celebrity friends, including David and Victoria Beckham and their children, were also part of it. However, the only member of Adam's family at the celebration was his sister, Bethany. She served as one of Holly's bridesmaids. 

In an interview with Mail Online, Caroline revealed that her son doesn't know how much he had hurt her, and it felt like her heart had been cut out. She highlighted how it was the first Christmas that her family was not together. She stated that her family has been broken. She blamed the wedding for her family's split. She said:

"I don't think they understand how much they have hurt me; it's as if they have cut my heart out. This is the first Christmas that I've not had my family together – my family is broken. Yes, I have my other grandchildren. Yes, I have my other children, but my family is split because of the goings on...because of the wedding."

She added that she knew that attending the wedding would create more havoc in the media, and she didn't want to ruin her son's wedding day. She just wanted to be part of seeing him get married.

While Adam's personal relationship with his family suffered, he developed a close bond with his father-in-law, Gordon Ramsay. The famous chef also cooked special food for the wedding. He always spoke about the guidance he received from Gordon after he struggled with mental health and alco**l addiction, which forced him to pull out of the British Swimming Championships in 2023. Gordon Ramsay also admires him, and at the High Performance Podcast, he shared a text for him as he called him down-to-earth and respectable son-in-law. 

However, the Peaty family, who are devastated, believes that Gordon Ramsay is behind their ugly family feud. Most of the family was uninvited to the lavish Saturday wedding. Just hours after the couple said their vows, Adam's mother, Caroline Peaty, took a spicy dig at Gordon Ramsay. She stated that her son is in Gordon's clutches. Caroline added that it seems like they are pulling her son away from her. However, she also shared a message for her son, and told him that no matter what, his parents love him. She was quoted as saying:

"He’s in Gordon’s clutches. I can’t help but feel like they are pulling him away from me. I know it’s the end. But please, the message I want Adam to hear is no matter what happens in the future, please know I love you, your dad loves you, you can come home and talk to me at any point."

As per reports, Adam's relationship with his parents suffered when he and his then-fiancée, Holly, chose not to include his parents in the engagement. Further, her mother-in-law was not even part of her guest list for her luxury hen do weekend at the Soho Farmhouse. Her mother and Adam's sister, Bethany, were invited to the celebration. However, things took a shocking turn when Adam invited his father-in-law, Gordon Ramsay, to his stag do in Budapest.  It was followed by the swimmer being forced to get a police escort from the plane after receiving threats on his return to the UK. His brother, James Peaty, was arrested and released after he sent verbal threats to the 30-year-old swimmer.
