Joni Lamb's Daughter Cries As She Recalls Mom's Last Procedure, 'Doctor Put Her Under Anaesthesia'

Daystar president, Joni Lamb's daughter, held back her tears as she recalled her mom's last moments before passing away at the age of 65.

Joni Lamb passed away at the age of 65. If the reports are to be believed, Joni Lamb had been facing some health issues, which worsened with her back pain. With her passing, her family members were left with broken hearts. 

However, for Joni, until the last moment, she kept working on her mission. Recently, on Daystar, Joni's daughters and sons-in-law talked about her. Well, it was Rachel Lamb Brown, who spoke about her mom's last moments, and she had to hold back her tears while speaking.

In a video released by Daystar, Joni Lamb's daughter, Rachel revealed that her mom taught her a lot of things throughout her life, and most importantly, she taught her how to be mission-minded. Rachel Lamb also shared that she remained marvelled at her mom's strength, in her last few days, when she was fighting her own battle, yet kept working on her mission, and also her work in Daystar.

Rachel almost cried as she talked about her mom's last moments. In the same video, she said that her mom held her mission towards the very end. According to Rachel, her mom had to undergo a procedure, and a doctor was putting her under anaesthesia. She asked him, 'If you died today, where would you spend eternity?" Rachel stated that even in the last moment, her heart was still focused on someone else knowing Jesus.

For the unversed, on Mother's Day, Rachel posted a long, emotional note as she lost her mother. She revealed that in the last few days of her mom's life, when she was struggling with her health, she was fighting her own battle. She went on to reveal that her mom's body was eventually becoming weak, and she fought extremely hard.

In the same note, Rachel also revealed that throughout her health battle, her mom, Joni Lamb, never lost sight of the mission that God called her to, and even though she was suffering, she kept doing television and reaching out to people. Rachel also revealed how it ached her heart when her own son ran to her and held her legs to tell her that he missed her, and it was the moment that made her break down in tears, as it hit her that she would never be able to tell her mom that she missed her. An excerpt from the note could be read as:

"You fought so hard. You were so strong. Even when your body was weak, your spirit never was. Through your journey of being sick, you never lost sight of the mission God had called you to. You kept showing up. You kept doing television. You kept reaching for people. Even in the middle of your own suffering, your life continued pointing people toward Jesus."

Joni Lamb was married to Marcus Lucas, and they had three kids together, Rachel, Rebecca and Jonathan. It was back in 2021, when Marcus, at the age of 64, passed away. Two years later, in 2023, Joni Lamb got married to Doug Weiss. With Joni Lamb's passing, a controversy, which stemmed back in 2023-2024. resurfaced again. It was her son, Jonathan and daughter-in-law, Suzy, who accused Marcus and Joni of covering up the entire incident of their then 5-year-old daughter's sexual abuse.
