Quick Summary

We've seen full leaks of just about every device set to launch during Made by Google, now it's time for the Google Pixel Watch 5.

Leaked images show a design similar to the Pixel Watch 4, but confirm a couple of new features expected on the forthcoming smartwatch.

Prolific leaker Evan Blass has struck again, publishing a fresh set of what appear to be official Google marketing images for the Pixel Watch 5 on his Leakmail Substack.

The leak arrives just days before the smartwatch is expected to be officially announced, leaving very little to the imagination.

What can we expect from the Pixel Watch 5?

The post itself is light on written details, with Blass letting the collection of images do the talking. But they offer a comprehensive look at the wearable from multiple angles. There are shots showing everything from a close-up of the crown to the selection of straps.

For anyone with the Pixel Watch 4 though, there don’t appear to be many surprises, with the design largely unchanged.

No pricing, spec sheets, or release date details accompany the images, but there is some detail in the pictures themselves. They give clues to some of the features the Pixel Watch 5 is likely to offer.

As you might expect – it’s a common theme with any tech launch at the moment – the Pixel Watch 5 will have AI capabilities, coming in the form of Gemini.

One image suggests it might have smart alarms, presumably waking you up within a 30-minute window when you are in your lightest sleep stage – something Fitbit has offered on devices for years.

It also looks like you’ll be able to ask Coach to help you understand correlations in data, such as whether you get better sleep when you take more steps.

The images also show features including blood oxygen monitoring, atrial fibrillation detection, sleep tracking and heart rate variability tracking – all of which the Pixel 4 has, so again, no surprises there.

For now, nothing is official, but this latest leak gives us about as complete a picture of the Pixel Watch 5's design as we're likely to get before the Made by Google event on 12 August.
