QUICK SUMMARY
Emma has launched its Performance collection, featuring three new mattresses in seven sizes.
With prices starting at £729, the Emma Performance mattresses feature seven layers, three of which are made from advanced cooling materials and technology.
Sleeping when it’s hot can be near impossible, which is why I always recommend investing in a mattress which uses specialised materials and technology to keep you cool. Emma’s new Performance mattress collection claims to do just that – and they’re already on sale.
I’ve tested many Emma products – in fact, I sleep on an Emma Hybrid Premium mattress every night and have done so for the past three years. But one issue that sleepers had against Emma was that its mattresses trapped heat, making them feel hot and sweaty throughout the night.
However, once users voiced these concerns, Emma redesigned many of its mattresses, and now, they’re more cooling than ever before. For example, the Emma mattress I sleep on is comfortable, moisture-wicking and temperature regulating and I couldn’t recommend it more.

But now it seems that Emma has taken this to another level with its new Performance collection. Featuring three mattresses, the new line-up varies in height, so you can buy them in 26cm, 28cm and 30cm. Aside from the height changes, the Emma Performance mattresses come in seven sizes and are packed full of cooling technology.
Made from a hybrid construction, the Emma Performance mattresses have two base layers to stabilise the mattress when it’s in a bedframe. One layer up is zone pocket springs that offer bounce and minimise motion transfer. Above these layers are the three main components of the mattresses which make them as cooling as possible.
The Emma Performance mattresses feature AirGrid technology which has been engineered for adaptive airflow. This minimises the amount of heat trapped in the mattress, which allows it to keep you cool and regulate your body temperature through the night.
Next is DeepCalm Comfort technology, a new feature adapted by Emma for this collection. It offers full body support by moulding and cushioning your body, like memory foam. However, unlike memory foam, the Emma Performance mattresses respond to your movement so you don’t get too much of that sinking feeling.

The final cooling layer is the cool-to-touch cover which has a knitted design made up of breathable micro-dots. The dots move air outwards to help manage the heat.
Available in single - super king sizes, prices on the Emma Performance mattresses start at £729. As of writing, the 26 and 30 options have already been discounted. Alternatively, you can check out these Emma sales, deals and discount codes for offers all year round.
