A Martha Stewart Documentary: It’s a Good Thing

A documentary about chef/lifestyle guru/Sports Illustrated “Swimsuit” issue cover girl Martha Stewart will soon arrive on Netflix. Martha comes to us from R.J. Cutler, who has turned his lens on all the great divas of our age, including Anna Wintour, Elton John, and Billie Eilish. Now it’s Martha’s turn. Per Netflix, the film traces Stewart “from teenage model to her reign as the original influencer and America’s first self-made female billionaire.” Presumably, her moment as the Sin Eater for all the celebrity insider traders will be covered. But how much talking-head space will her bestie, Snoop Dogg, get? Martha debuts on Netflix October 30, in some anti-Halloween counterprogramming.
