White House Calls Mark Hamill a ‘Lunatic’ for Sharing AI Image of Trump’s Grave

Do or do not post an AI-generated image of Donald Trump. There is no try. Or post it and then delete it afterward. The White House criticized Star Wars’ Mark Hamill for posting an image of the president lying next to a gravestone. “Mark Hamill is one sick individual. These Radical Left lunatics just can’t help themselves,” the White House Rapid Response X account posted on May 7. “This kind of rhetoric is exactly what has inspired three assassination attempts in two years against our President.” In the original post, Hamill hoped Trump would be “be held accountable for his unprecedented corruption, impeached, convicted & humiliated for his countless crimes.” The voice actor has been one of Trump’s strongest critics in Hollywood. He previously read Trump’s posts in his Joker voice with a true cartoon-villain cadence.

Hamill doesn’t seem too bothered by the White House’s response. He clarified his comments on May 7, writing, “Accurate Edit for Clarity: ‘He should live long enough to… be held accountable for his… crimes.’ Actually, I was wishing him the opposite of dead, but apologize if you found the image inappropriate.” It’s safe to say he found his lack of faith disturbing.
