Kylie Jenner’s New Show Is Basically Pretty Little Liars for Brides

by · VULTURE

Got a secret, can you keep it? Kylie Jenner is following in her big sister Kim Kardashian’s footsteps and trying out acting. There’s plenty of room for two thespians in the family. Jenner’s starring in a new TV series on Hulu where she plays a bride who gets murdered on her bachelorette trip, and her bridesmaids become the first suspects. Deadline says Jenner is the “north star” of the series, helping piece together what happened to her. It sounds like Pretty Little Liars but without the weird adults hanging out with middle schoolers. We do not need another Ezria on our hands. Bachelorette Weekend (working title) is written by Lauren Oliver with Kaplan Entertainment. Jenner, Kardashian, and Oliver are both executive producing the project alongside Aaron Kaplan.

After Jenner’s stellar comedy performance in Charli XCX’s The Moment, we wondered what she’d do next. More comedy? Horror? A campy Ryan Murphy show? “I’ve actually gotten a few scripts, nothing that I feel is right yet, but I 100 percent want to do more,” she told Vanity Fair earlier this year about her acting ambitions. “I really like comedy. I think I’m good at it.” There’s definitely some humor involved in a bachelorette; imagine the improv she can do during the party games.
