Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour Are Coming Back to Netflix

by · VULTURE

Netflix has arranged another daddy-daughter date for Millie Bobby Brown and David Harbour. The Stranger Things alums are starring in a spy series from Adolescence co-creator (and Enola Holmes writer) Jack Thorne. A24 is producing. The show doesn’t have a title yet, but it does have a straight-to-series order, per Deadline. It will be loosely based on A Spy in the Blood, by Paul Warner. The book is about a former jet-setting spy who has been stuck behind a desk for years. His daughter joins MI6 behind his back, and he has to get back in the game when she goes missing. One assumes Harbour will play the father and Brown will be the daughter, but imagine for a second they flip it to be silly geese.

Brown teased the project on the Happy Sad Confused podcast this week. “Father-daughter is where we live, but Netflix will always be our home,” she said. “The David Harbour project is sooner than expected, and it’s David’s idea, so kudos to him.” Presumably this puts the “they hate each other” rumor to bed for good.
