Driver survives collision with train on Belgrade - Bar railway!

A serious traffic accident occurred this morning in Veliki Crljeni near Lazarevac, when a passenger train and a car collided at an unsecured, unofficial level crossing, Telegraf.rs has learned.

According to initial information obtained by Telegraf.rs, the accident happened around 09:35 hours on the Belgrade - Bar railway line, when a passenger train hit the car driven by a 74-year-old man.

He was injured and transported by private vehicle to the infirmary in Veliki Crljeni, where the doctors diagnosed wounds to his head and left arm, and as Telegraf.rs has learned, the man was conscious and able to communicate after the accident.

After receiving first aid, the victim was transported by ambulance to the Emergency Center in Belgrade for further diagnosis and treatment.

Railway traffic on this part of the Belgrade - Bar railway was suspended this morning.

The police were at the scene to investigate, and will later announces the details concerning this traffic accident.
