I'm A Celebrity camp chaos as Maura leaves co-stars in lurch after thoughtless accident
by Katie Wilson · Irish MirrorThe I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! campmates got a shock tonight when they returned to camp to find their rice and beans missing.
Though everyone moans about it, the basic meal is what keeps the celebs going during their stint in the jungle. So when current camp chefs Oti Mabuse and Reverend Richard Coles discovered it wasn't where they left it, panic set in as they wondered what they were going to eat instead - especially if no one got any stars in the Bushtucker Trials.
The lack of food was heightened even more when the campmates were told they had to start paying for their 'everyday essentials' such as water to bath and shower, logs for the fire - and even to use the dunny. The new-look camp had turnstiles installed for the loo and a vending wall added. On the plus side, there is a treat machine where the campmates can buy extra treats for camp.

And a shower was definitely welcome after Dean, Alan and Danny returned from their 'Rank Bank' trial, which saw the trio dunk their heads into fish guts in a bid to get stars. After being given their first $10 each to spend, they all got into the jungle shower together to clean themselves off after the stomach-churning trial.
As Radio 1 DJ Dean declared it was "the b est $10 I ever spent," McFly singer Danny also couldn't contain his excitement for the Wim Hof style experience, as he said: " Paying for a cold natural waterfall doesn’t feel right, but my God you enjoy it and you take it in way more! You wanna spend all day in there now."
It was then that Oti and Richard realised that they were unable to find the camp's supply of rice and beans. Retracing what could have happened to them - as the camp has already been invaded by rats - the camp twigged they must have accidentally been taken out in the rubbish by former Love Island star Maura.
Oti went to take a look and to the campmates' relief managed to recover the thrown out rice and beans, meaning the camp still had food for an evening meal. After Oti successfully retrieved the food, Maura told the Bush Telegraph: "I didn’t throw the rice and beans in the rubbish on purpose or anything, although that’s the place for them if I’m being honest! It was a complete accident."
Last night medics had to rush to I'm A Celeb during a frightening moment with one of the campmates. It came after Tulisa panicked as she felt one of the thousands of bugs poured on her crawl inside her ear during her first trial, which saw her win five stars for camp.
The N-Dubz star screamed out for the trial to stop and medics rushing in to treat her. Though viewers didn't get to see it as it was reportedly cut from the final edit. "Mid-way through the trial the show medics rushed in to help. Tulisa was convinced something was in her ear - she wasn’t sure if it was a cockroach, cricket or fly - and had to have a syringe wash. She carried on after that, but she was horrified," a show insider told The Sun.
