HYBE released its 2025 Sustainability Management Report, marking the company’s fourth consecutive annual sustainability and ESG report.

The report highlights HYBE’s key priorities and achievements in sustainability management throughout the year, reflecting the company’s vision to advance sustainable entertainment and create long-term value for fans, artists, employees, partners, and communities.

Enhancing the Fan Experience

Prioritizing fans as the center of its values, HYBE continued to advance fan experiences across online and offline environments worldwide. In 2025, Weverse launched Weverse Spot, an integrated service that consolidates various fan activities at concerts and other offline events within a single platform, delivering a more seamless and accessible experience. Weverse Company also established a dedicated customer experience unit to strengthen global customer support and enhance service quality.

Meanwhile, THE CITY project transformed concert destinations such as Jakarta, Bangkok, and Los Angeles into immersive, artist-branded zones, broadening fan engagement while contributing to local tourism and economic activity.

Advancing Environmental Sustainability

HYBE further improved the environmental sustainability of its official merchandise by prioritizing eco-conscious materials. The company introduced recycled plastic in BTS' official light sticks and plans to expand its use. It also continued to promote Weverse Albums, a hybrid format that combines physical ownership with primarily digital content.

Beyond its products, HYBE’s Eco Village Project supported biodiversity conservation in Bangladesh’s Sundarbans region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, by planting more than 462,000 mangrove trees as of 2025.

Reinforcing Ethical Management and Compliance

To foster a transparent business culture and provide clear standards for ethical conduct, HYBE established anti-corruption policies and guidelines, along with compliance guidelines for the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act.

The company also implemented guidelines to promote fair subcontracting practices and provided approximately KRW 200 million in support for safety equipment and other essential supplies for subcontracting partners, reinforcing mutual growth across its business ecosystem.

Strengthening Digital Security and Artist Protection

To protect artists' and fans’ information, HYBE updated its digital security and privacy policies to address evolving technologies and emerging risks, while maintaining a 100 percent completion rate for information security and privacy training among employees.

The company also strengthened physical security protocols to protect artists, as well as legal action against defamation, privacy violations, and deepfake exploitation through continuous monitoring and reports received via the centralized HYBE Protect platform.

To protect artists’ IP rights, HYBE collaborated with Amazon to address over 92,000 counterfeit merchandise listings, and plans to scale up global partnerships against IP infringement.

Supporting Employee Well-Being and Workplace Culture

HYBE sustained its efforts to build a healthy and engaging workplace by introducing additional employee well-being and engagement programs.

New events such as Culture Day offered employees opportunities to experience music and arts, while town hall meetings and employee recognition programs encouraged open communication and enhanced motivation.

Ensuring an effective health and safety management system at the workplace, HYBE obtained ISO 45001 certification, while its in-house Health Care Center provides employees with comprehensive mental health support.

Creating Positive Social Impact

HYBE expanded its social impact initiatives through artist-led partnerships with international organizations.

Key campaigns in 2025 included SEVENTEEN’s advocacy for education as UNESCO’s first-ever Goodwill Ambassador for Youth; TOMORROW X TOGETHER’s partnership with UNICEF to support children’s mental health; ENHYPEN and BELIFT LAB’s blood donation drive with the Korean Red Cross; and BOYNEXTDOOR’s collaboration with Save the Children to support children in need of protection.

Additionally, six HYBE MUSIC GROUP APAC labels jointly pledged KRW 500 million to support families affected by a major fire in Hong Kong.

Building on the progress we have made, HYBE remains committed to advancing sustainable entertainment across our business and driving positive impact through global and local initiatives,” said the HYBE Sustainability Management Committee. “We will continue working alongside our stakeholders to strengthen our ESG practices and communicate our efforts with transparency and accountability.”
