NMIXX's Haewon personally addresses mixed reactions to her new short haircut

NMIXX's Haewon has spoken out about her new short haircut, which recently became a talking point among fans. On July 9, Haewon was seen at the airport in a casual white t-shirt and jeans while departing for Kaohsiung, Taiwan, for NMIXX's first world tour 'EPISODE 1 : ZERO FRONTIER'. Her choppy short hair quickly drew a wide range of reactions online.

The change divided fans. Some were unsure, with comments like "What is with that styling?", while many others praised it — "Her face does all the work" — comparing her refreshing look to Go Eun Chan from the drama 'Coffee Prince'.

Addressing it directly on the fan platform Bubble, Haewon explained she had simply trimmed her hair to cut off damaged ends. She reassured fans about her stage styling, saying, "I won't be performing on stage with this hair. Don't worry. Same for fansigns." She playfully added, "It will take about 3 years to fully grow this hair out. Please watch over me. Stick right by my side."
