Netflix's 'Teach You a Lesson' extends global reign, holds No.1 spot for three straight weeks

In its third week since release, 'Teach You a Lesson' remained at No. 1 on Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart. The series recorded 11.8 million views and 126.2 million viewing hours during the week.
The drama ranked No. 1 in 19 countries, including South Korea, Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore, the Philippines, and Malaysia, and also landed in the Top 10 in 85 countries worldwide.
The series has drawn enthusiastic reactions from viewers around the world since its debut. It reached No. 1 on the global rankings in its very first week, and its popularity has remained strong in Korea as well.
Just two weeks after release, 'Teach You a Lesson' topped the TV + OTT integrated drama buzz rankings compiled by Good Data Corporation. Even in its third week, both the series and its cast continued to dominate the upper ranks of the buzz chart.
The success of 'Teach You a Lesson' also boosted interest in 'Juvenile Justice,' another project directed by Hong Jong Chan and starring Kim Mu Yeol. Four years after its release, Juvenile Justice re-entered Netflix’s Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart.
'Teach You a Lesson' is set against the fresh premise of a fictional government agency called the Educational Rights Protection Bureau (ERPB). The series follows a group of unconventional and charismatic characters as they work to restore order to troubled schools and challenge the norms of the education system.
Meanwhile, in the Non-English Film category, 'Husbands in Action' ranked No. 2. The comedy-action film follows an ex-husband and current husband who join forces to rescue their wife after she is kidnapped. It logged 5.7 million views.
