HYBE unveils its new mission and visions, "to expand the boundaries of the fan experience"
by Sofia-Sayson · allkpopHYBE unveiled its new mission, vision, and Corporate Identity (CI), marking the next phase of its growth strategy and long-term business direction. They introduced a new mission statement: “Discover a new universe, unlock an immersive journey.”
The new mission reflects HYBE’s commitment to creating immersive experiences through artists, content, and services, helping fans discover new tastes, identities, and worlds. It also highlights the company’s intent to continuously deliver new experiences ahead of changing times and evolving generations. The previous mission, “We believe in Music,” will be carried forward by HYBE’s music businesses as a guiding principle to reinforce the essence and value of music.
To support this mission, HYBE also introduced a new vision: “Global entertainment lifestyle platform company based on music and technology.”
HYBE’s new vision reflects its ambition to become an entertainment lifestyle platform company built on both music and technology.
The most significant change in the updated vision is the explicit addition of “Technology.”
The company explained, “While music and fans remain at the core and utmost priority, the new vision encapsulates our commitment to advancing the industry by incorporating necessary technology to expand the boundaries of the fan experience.”
This reflects HYBE’s direction to deepen connection and extension of experiences through platforms based on world-class music and content, thereby advancing an entertainment lifestyle centered around fans.
In line with its new mission and vision, HYBE also updated how it uses its Corporate Identity (CI). Previously, the company used its wordmark, symbol, and mission statement altogether. Under the new system, HYBE will use the wordmark “HYBE” and symbol “H” independently.
This brand renewal reflects HYBE’s expanded business structure, its mid- to long-term growth strategy, and its positioning as a global IP-based company.
In August 2024, HYBE announced “HYBE 2.0”, its future growth strategy designed to respond proactively to the rapidly changing entertainment landscape and secure unrivaled leadership in the industry. At its core, HYBE 2.0 reorganized the company’s business structure into three key pillars: Music, Platform, and tech-driven future growth initiatives.
HYBE said “This brand renewal reflects HYBE’s direction for new growth. Built on music and technology, HYBE will continue to expand fan experiences, create new possibilities, and help define what’s next for the global entertainment industry.”
