by · AppleInsider

AT&T has a new offer for iPhone XR and newer owners that want to try a new carrier. Get a 30-day free trial with unlimited talk & text, 100GB of data, and more.

If you're tired of dropped calls and spotty internet service, it may be time for a change. While eSIM technology isn't new, it is becoming more commonplace, especially since Apple dropped the physical SIM slot in iPhone 14.

AT&T wants to entice potential customers with a free trial aimed at iPhone users. Check out AT&T service for free for 30 days by simply downloading the myAT&T app or visiting the AT&T website.

Grab the trial

It is a no-strings-attached trial that doesn't require credit card information or any commitments. Customers are welcome to end the trial or switch at any time.

The AT&T free trial includes unlimited talk & text, 100GB of data, 25GB of personal hotspot, and access to the AT&T 5G network. AT&T is the only carrier including a hotspot in its trial.

The trial is only available to iPhone owners with an iPhone XR or newer. An Android trial will be introduced in 2025.

I am trialing this on a backup iPhone with an unused eSIM. Signup and configuration via the myAT&T app went very smoothly and uneventfully. As the article mentions there were no prompts asking for credit card information. Provisioning the eSIM took less than a minute.
