NagaEd launches pioneering AI teacher
· Nagaland PageDimapur, November 7: NagaEd, a leader in digital education, has unveiled Livi AI, the region’s first AI-powered teacher deployed on Whatsapp, positioning Northeast India at the forefront of education technology.
Livi AI delivers cutting-edge, curriculum-aligned education to students in both urban and remote areas, addressing the need for specialised science and mathematics instruction in a way that meets the highest educational standards, said a press release from NagaEd.
“Livi AI represents a leap forward in education technology, ensuring that every student-no matter where they are – can access a learning experience that rivals the best institutions globally,” said Kevisato Sanyu, founder of NagaEd.
This week, Livi AI will be introduced to partner schools, including Northfield School, EL-Shaddai Academy, Rev Dr Neiliezhü Usou Memorial School and Eden Academy, marking a significant step in NagaEd’s mission to align with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Fully integrated with NCERT and local school curricula, Livi AI supports NEP’s vision by offering real-time, personalised guidance on complex science and math topics, it said.
“With this initiative, we are enhancing the capabilities of leading schools to provide the best digital education experience possible,” Sanyu added.
According to NagaEd, its innovative approach has not gone unnoticed. The company was recognised as one of the Top 50 Tech-Enabled Startups by TiECon Silicon Valley, a global forum for entrepreneurial excellence. Additionally, NagaEd received the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) award for Best Practice in Digital Transformation, solidifying its place as a leader in the use of technology to transform education, it said.
