Govt. must consult us for any decision on foothills road project: NFHRCC

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 26: The Nagaland Foothills Road Co-ordination Committee (NFHRCC) today resolved that the Government of Nagaland/NPWD should consult or take on board the committee for any decision with regard to the Foothills Road Construction Project.

This was resolved in a consultative meeting of 12 Dimapur-based tribal hohos/unions with NFHRCC today.

The meeting also reiterated that the project will not be allowed to be politicised under any circumstances as was resolved in 2013. “Failing which the HOHOs/Unions will not remain a silent spectator as the HOHOs are getting fully prepared to safeguard the Foothills Road project through any means”, it said.
