An Influencer Discovered Her Husband Was Messaging Random Girls, Now She’s Made $160k Off Divorce Merch

In June, a video of Jen Hamilton sobbing in her driveway began circulating online. What might have been a private low point became the opening chapter of a very public divorce. Hamilton says her husband had been messaging other women from a secret TikTok account. Instead of going quiet, she launched a merch line off the wreckage.
The divorce merch carries slogans like “Get Your Ass Up” and “The Only Way Out Is Fucking Through.” Hamilton says the sweatshirts have already brought in more than $160,000, which she plans to donate to nonprofits that help women leave unhealthy relationships.
Hamilton, 35, is a labor-and-delivery nurse in Asheboro, North Carolina, who went viral five years ago answering questions about inductions, epidurals, and vitamin K shots. She and her husband of 14 years, with whom she shares two kids ages 9 and 13, are separating after she says she found out he’d been living a “double life.” She alleges he had an affair with a 56-year-old woman, and claims he’d cheated once before.
The upheaval arrived just as her first book, Birth Vibes, hit the New York Times best-seller list. Rather than step back, she’s posted the whole thing: the crying video she later took down, the accusations, the texts. “I’m done being people’s PR manager,” she said last month. Brian did not respond to New York Magazine’s request for comment.
She spent a weekend lobbying North Carolina lawmakers to scrap a state law requiring couples to live apart for a year before filing, and she’s now writing a memoir about the ordeal. “I tell my kids, ‘Nosy people pay our bills,'” she says.
