Sabrina Carpenter Went Full Country Maiden at Dior Couture, in White Lace and Ribboned Braids

Sabrina Carpenter skipped the signature blowout for two loose braids tied with white ribbons, parted down the middle, curtain bangs pushed to the sides.
Dior staged its Fall/Winter 2026 haute couture show at the Musée Rodin on July 6, with Jonathan Anderson’s second couture collection for the house unfolding in the Sculpture Garden among Rodin’s works, including The Thinker, and the set playing on the boundary between indoors and out.
Carpenter, a Dior ambassador, sat front row between Anna Wintour and Baz Luhrmann in a white lace midi dress with a cowl neck, low-heeled white mule sandals, and a small white Dior bag. Her hair was center-parted into two undone wavy braids tied off with white ribbons to match the dress, and her usual glam was dialed down to fresh skin and minimal eye makeup.
She was in New York days earlier, spotted leaving Madison Square Garden on July 4 after Swift and Kelce’s wedding celebration, then jetted to Paris for couture week. Dua Lipa made the same New York-to-Paris jump this week, though she’s only been seen entering the Ritz so far, no fashion shows yet.
The front row also drew Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas, SEVENTEEN’s Kim Mingyu, Naomi Watts, Josh O’Connor, Ethel Cain, Ella Bright, and Delphine Arnault, with Carpenter spotted chatting with O’Connor and with Anderson himself around the show. Dior shared the July 6 slate with Schiaparelli, which showed its “The Abyss” collection the same day.
