Sandra Bullock Says She and Her Sister Have a Pact: If Either One Lands in a Coma, the Other Has to Come Pluck the Chin Hairs

“Should any one of us be in a coma, the other one has to come to the hospital and always pluck the chin hair,” Bullock said. “That’s why sisterhood is important.”

Bullock was asked in a press interview whether she plucks chin hairs. She said she and her sister have a standing deal.

“Should any one of us be in a coma, the other one has to come to the hospital and always pluck the chin hair,” she said. “Like, you’re on it all the time. You’re like, oh, I got this thing, but you’re still alive and awake. When that’s no longer available, what’s going to grow without permission? Chin hairs.”

She said the two of them can also spot the universal tell of a woman who has just found one. “We know the sign is a woman that when you see a woman driving her car and she’s looking at the, you know, she’s driving and she’s going like this,” Bullock said. “She’s discovered it because the light in the car and the driver’s seat is very different than the light at home. It shows a lot.”

“That’s why sisterhood is important,” she said.
