A Wisconsin brewery known for its politically charged beer is now facing the loss of its alcohol permit, and the two sides can’t agree on why.
The Minocqua Brewing Company sold beer themed around Democratic politicians and offered free rounds “the day he dies.” Wisconsin is pulling its alcohol permit.
The state says the real reason is a June raid, when authorities seized beer they claim was hauled across state lines without the right permits.
The owner is calling that “laughable” and promising to fight.
