Jetour Auto PHL introduces Luis and Jessy Manzano as brand ambassadors

JETOUR AUTO PHILIPPINES, INC. (JAPI) recently enlisted celebrity couple Luis Manzano and Jessy Mendiola Manzano as its newest brand ambassadors — introducing them at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) last weekend. The pair are the latest additions to the brand’s roster of endorsers.

“Jessy and Luis are well-respected not only for their work in the entertainment industry, but also for the way they represent family life,” said JAPI Marketing Director Cherry May De Los Santos in a release. “Their authenticity and relatability make them a natural fit for Jetour and the customers we serve.”

Through the partnership, the Manzanos became owners of a Jetour T1 Lightning i-DM. JAPI said the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle is the brand’s volume-selling model and a major contributor to the 177% year-on-year growth it posted as of May this year. The brand operates locally under multi-brand distributor United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI).

“We want to partner with a brand that encourages practical and responsible choices for the future,” the Manzanos said in a press release. “Jetour’s ‘Forward in Every Drive’ campaign reflects our own values of being real and intentional. It’s a brand that supports our lifestyle rather than dictating it.”

When “Velocity” asked what impressed the pair most about the Jetour vehicle, Luis singled out the five-seater SUV’s looks. “For me, you can talk about the technology, brag about a car’s interior and engine, but at the end of the day, it’s a good-looking car,” he told members of the press and content creators shortly before the ceremonial contract-signing ceremony on the sidelines of PIMS. “Filipinos love good-looking vehicles. We’ve been given the chance to have such a beautiful car. I’m also so happy with the T1’s power, so you have the best of all worlds in one model.”

For her part, Jessy said she was immediately drawn to the T1’s Sand Gold color option. “It stood out right away,” she gushed. “It was elegant, distinctive, and unlike anything I had seen on the road. It has a strong presence without being overwhelming. It felt like a vehicle that could fit both our family’s everyday needs and our lifestyle. The quiet electric mode is especially helpful when our little one is sleeping in the car. The ADAS (advanced driver assistance systems) safety features provide reassurance in unpredictable traffic conditions, while the connectivity features help us stay organized throughout the day.”

Additionally, the actress underscored the environmental benefits of owning a hybrid vehicle. “As parents, it allows us to make more thoughtful energy choices for our family and the next generation,” she said. In a social media post a day after their introduction, she described the T1 as “a functional and reliable car” that contributes “to cleaner air for our children’s future.” “Being able to embrace innovation while making more mindful choices for our family makes this journey even more meaningful,” she added.

The couple also highlighted the value the vehicle brings to growing families. “Every peso counts, especially with the spike in fuel prices,” Luis stated. “Allotting a certain amount for gas is not something I think about as much anymore since we got our T1. I also appreciate how efficient the brand’s after-sales service is. That’s something Jetour not only says but demonstrates through the availability of parts and the speed of its after-sales service.”
