The Air Jordan 4 RM is set to debut in the classic dual “Bred” colorway, first introduced in 1989 by Michael Jordan with the classic Air Jordan 4. Until now, the RM model, which borrows core visual cues from the Air Jordan 4, hasn’t been produced in the legendary black-and-red colorway beloved by Jordan fans.
Overall the Air Jordan 4 RM has the feel of a simplified, low-cut Jordan 4, reimagining the traditional basketball silhouette into a versatile lifestyle sneaker. Even now, in its duo-tone variant, the contemporary style maintains an air of minimalism with tonal variations across the black leather uppers, black suede details, and tinted translucent overlays.
Primary red appears minimally on the outsoles and peeking out from the lining of the tongue, as well as on the Nike Air insignia on the rubberized heel panel. The Jordan 4 RM leans heavily into subtly, with the Jordan logo quietly featured in black on the tongue, red on the insole, and positioned slightly off-center on the heel details.
The Air Jordan 4 RM “Bred” release date has not been specified, but the drop is expected during the 2024 Holiday season via the Nike web store. Stay tuned to Hypebeast for updates on the official release date.
