Columbia and BEAMS have reworked the Columbia Bugaboo Jacket for their latest collaboration, turning the 1986 outerwear staple into a reversible piece. The jacket leads a compact capsule that also includes a graphic crewneck and two fleece caps, all styled around the look of the era while being built for everyday wear today.

The original Bugaboo became one of the Portland, Oregon outdoor brand’s defining pieces because of its interchange system, which paired a separate inner layer with an outer shell that could be worn together or apart. The collaboration keeps the thinking behind that design but drops the two-piece setup for a reversible construction. As a result, the jacket gives the wearer two looks in a single garment, and BEAMS says the new version is lighter and easier to throw on than the multi-layer original.

The jacket comes in brown in sizes S through XL, keeping the palette in the earthy register of classic outdoor gear. The reversible build keeps its versatility while removing the bulk of a zip-in liner, making it better suited to city days than backcountry trips.

The Graphic Sweat Crew carries a hunting-themed graphic designed to evoke the period when the Bugaboo first appeared. It comes in gray heather and gray in sizes XS through XL, giving the capsule a lighter layering piece to wear under the jacket.

The Fleece Cap finishes the lineup in two one-size colorways. The camo version adds a field-ready pattern, while the brown version matches the jacket and pulls the set together as a coordinated look.
