McDonald’s China has officially released the French Fry Wireless Mouse, an everyday computer peripheral constructed from repurposed Happy Meal toys. The functional tech accessory arrives as part of the brand’s ongoing “Reimagine Good Things” sustainability campaign.
Shaped after the brand’s classic red and yellow carton, the mouse features a top shell molded to resemble a cluster of French fries, accented with the signature golden arches at the base. More than 60% of the exterior casing is constructed from recycled plastic sourced from collected Happy Meal toys, developed as part of an initiative launched in partnership with Lenovo.
Under the hood, the device is engineered as a fully functional daily peripheral equipped with quiet-click buttons, a 380mAh rechargeable battery, and three adjustable DPI sensitivity settings. It supports dual-mode wireless connectivity across 2.4GHz and Bluetooth channels. Each unit is packaged with a dedicated carrying case designed to unroll and function as a matching mouse pad.
The McDonald’s French Fry Wireless Mouse is available in a limited run of 4,000 units on October 22 and October 23, 2026, launching at 10:45 a.m. local time exclusively via the McDonald’s China app and WeChat mini program for 99 yuan (approximately $14 USD) plus 18 member points.
