MelGeek and Neon Genesis Evangelion have teamed on the Centauri 60 “Asuka Edition,” an officially licensed magnetic gaming keyboard that runs enthusiast-grade Hall-Effect hardware through the visual identity of EVA-02’s pilot. Licensed under Khara, Inc., the board treats performance engineering and character design as a single package rather than a skin laid over generic internals.

Underneath the theme sits a serious performance spec. The board is built on a 1.32kg unibody milled from a single billet of 6063-T6 aluminum with aerospace-grade anodization, and it rides on a leaf-spring gasket mount backed by five layers of internal dampening for a dense, controlled sound. Its Hall-Effect magnetic switches trade physical contact for magnetic sensing, unlocking a 0.01mm rapid trigger, an adjustable 0.2 to 4mm actuation range, and an 8000Hz polling rate, all managed through a six-MCU architecture and configured via MelGeek’s browser-based Hive tool with no software install required.
