Swatch is expanding its playful SCUBAQUA Collection with four new vibrant, jellyfish-inspired colorways. Focusing heavily on material innovation and underwater functionality, the latest dive watches — arriving in aqua green, midnight blue, electric fuchsia, and solar orange — pair robust aquatic specs with a striking translucent aesthetic.
At the core of the new SCUBAQUA release is a deliberate fusion of technical materials. The 44mm case utilizes matte white Bioceramic for the watch’s opaque structural elements, including the signature crown positioned unconventionally at 10 o’clock for enhanced safety and visual distinction. This solid white foundation is contrasted by the watch’s transparent sections, which are crafted from a biosourced material derived from castor oil. Used across the bezel, dial, and strap elements, this biosourced component introduces a jelly-tentacle-like translucency that reinforces the aquatic design language.
Functionality remains paramount for the diving-inspired silhouette. The transparent colored dials are equipped with white printed indexes, numerals, and hands that all feature glow-in-the-dark effects to ensure perfect readability in low-light settings. The construction is rated for up to 10 bars of water resistance. Further bridging the gap between activewear and everyday utility, Swatch has integrated Swatch Pay into the aqua green and midnight blue models, allowing wearers to make discreet, secure contactless payments directly from the wrist.
The four new Swatch SCUBAQUA models are available now via the Swatch webstore and in Swatch stores worldwide. The two Swatch Pay variants will be available in all markets where the payment feature is supported.
