Summary

Audemars Piguet transforms Royal Oak design codes into a dedicated jewelry collection.

Dream of Joux and Risoud Eclipse explore gem-setting and Vallée de Joux-inspired motifs.

Frosted Gold cuffs and chokers extend the collection’s sculptural language.

Audemars Piguet is translating one of its most recognizable watchmaking signatures into high jewelry with the new Royal Oak Joaillerie collection. The collection takes the Royal Oak‘s integrated bracelet geometry and reworks its tapering links, studs and octagonal forms as standalone jewelry — building on the history that stretches from Jacqueline Dimier’s 1976 reinterpretation of the Royal Oak for women to Audemars Piguet’s establishment of its own jewellery workshop in the 1980s and subsequent Haute Joaillerie creations.

This release debuts across three distinct expressions. Dream of Joux uses 18-carat white, yellow and pink gold alongside diamonds, sapphires, spessartites, tourmalines, amethysts, tsavorites and topazes to evoke frozen lakes, night skies, flowers and other elements of the Jura landscape. Highlights range from the icy blue Frozen Lake cuff and richly colored Tree of Life and Edelweiss designs to a tie necklace and matching drop earrings combining pear-shaped diamonds with snow-set blue sapphires.

Risoud Eclipse, meanwhile, takes a darker approach, pairing blackened titanium and white gold with prominent sugarloaf emeralds framed by brilliant-cut diamonds, its shadowed palette referencing the Risoud Forest beneath an eclipse. The third chapter revisits Audemars Piguet’s Frosted Gold technique, developed with Carolina Bucci in 2016, applying its diamond-dust-like hammered surface to Royal Oak-inspired chokers and cuffs in white, pink and yellow gold.
